Currency Exchange
It is strongly recommended that visitors exchange foreign currency into Japanese yen at the international airports at Tokyo (Narita, NRT) or Osaka (Kansai, KIX). There are no exchange facilities in Misasa Town. Please also note that ATMs at Japanese banks do not accept credit cards issued in other countries.

How to make a local call
Digital and Analog public telephones can be operated with 10 yen or 100 yen coins or a prepaid telephone card. Telephone cards can be purchased at Misasa Medical Center kiosk, train kiosks, convenience stores, and so on.
How to make an international call
Telephones displaying the "International Telephone Call" sign can be used to make international calls. Only coins or prepaid telephone card are accepted (no credit cards). Dial: Telephone company code + 010 + country code + telephone number

Public phones for making international phone calls are located in the ground-floor entrance of Misasa Medical Center adjacent to ISEI.
Note that there is NO public phone to accept Credit card.
